How do I sign up?

You can create a FameRace account in under a minute. Pick whichever sign-in method is easiest for you – they all land you in the same place. The auth page has two tabs, Sign in and Sign up – make sure you're on Sign up.

Sign up with email

Open the sign-up page
Click Sign up in the top right, or go straight to /signup.
Enter your email, then a password
Use an address you actually check – we email you a confirmation code. Press Continue, then create a password (8+ characters with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number and a special character) and press Continue again.
Add your gender and date of birth
We ask for these once, up front. You need to be at least 13 to use FameRace. Then press Create account.
Enter the code we email you
Look for a FameRace email with a one-time code and type it in. Check your spam folder if it isn't there within a minute.
Add your name or nickname
The final step asks for a name or nickname. Your profile URL – famerace.com/<handle> – is created for you automatically with a random handle; you can change the handle later from your profile.

Sign up with Google or Facebook

If you'd rather not type a password, click Continue with Google or Continue with Facebook on the sign-up page. You'll bounce out to their login, then come back to FameRace. We'll still ask for your name, gender, and date of birth (you must be 13+) before you're done.

Whichever method you pick on signup is the same one you'll use to log in later, so pick one you'll still have access to.

What happens next

Trouble signing up?

If the sign-up form says the security check (Cloudflare Turnstile) couldn't complete, your network is blocking it – try another network or a VPN, or sign up with Google or Facebook instead. If the confirmation code never arrives or Google/Facebook login bounces you back without signing in, use the contact form – it works while signed out – or email support@famerace.com with the address you tried.
