You can delete your FameRace account yourself, at any time, from Settings → Account at /settings. Open the Delete account row, type DELETE to confirm, and press Delete forever.
What deletion does
Deleting removes your sign-in and your person profile from FameRace. Your row leaves the leaderboard, the personal content on your profile (name, photo, bio, links, location, gender, date of birth) is erased and your uploaded images are deleted from storage. Records we are legally required to keep — payment, consent and tax records — are retained, pointing at an anonymised row.
Deletion is permanent and immediate — there's no trash and no undo. If you only want to step back, consider hiding your profile under Privacy instead.
Before you delete
- Premium — cancel first if you're on a paid plan. Deleting the account does not cancel the subscription for you, so a renewal could still fire on the way out, and unused time is not refunded. See managing your subscription.
- Wallet balance — a Wallet balance is cashback credit, not withdrawable cash; it doesn't survive deletion.
- Handles — a handle you were given for free is released. A handle you paid for is not released automatically (the name stays taken) and the fee is not refunded. If you want it released when you leave, email support@famerace.com before you delete.
- Pages you manage — brand and organization pages are not personal profiles, so they are not removed with your account, but you lose access to them. Transfer ownership to another member first — see managing multiple pages.
