    Filtering by region and category

Narrow the leaderboard to a country, a category, or both.

    Updated October 6, 2026

The leaderboard is global by default. /top lists boosted pages first, then every page by Audience – boosted ones included – from anywhere on the platform; /top/boosts and /top/audience show each ranking on its own. That's the right starting point for some questions and the wrong one for most.

    Two filters narrow it down.

    Region

The region picker scopes the board to a single country. On desktop it is a row in the left sidebar that is hidden by default – click the gear beside the search field ("Show the region filter") to reveal it; it stays visible for as long as a country is selected. On mobile, tap the region chip in the filter row (or open Filters → Region):

    • Any country – Ukraine, United States, Japan, and so on (the picker ranks countries by how many profiles they have)
    • "Worldwide" – the default, no filter

Region attribution is per profile: each profile belongs to the one country set under Edit profile → Location (country first, city optional). A creator who lives in Berlin and sets Germany as their location is listed on the Germany board, wherever their audience is. Hiding the location line on your profile does not remove you from that country's board.

    Category

Categories describe what a profile is known for: musician, athlete, tech founder, comedian, food creator, and so on. The full list is three levels deep – a sector like "Entertainment & Media", an industry inside it like "Music", and a leaf like "Guitarist" or "Record Label" – with ~5,000 leaves in total. The sidebar shows the first two levels; leaves are reachable through search and direct links.

    Filter by:

    • A sector like "Entertainment & Media" – gives you the broadest cut
    • An industry like "Music" – the usual level to browse
    • A leaf like "Guitarist" – narrowest (find it through search, or open the industry and star it)
    • Several categories at once – star them as favorites (up to 10), then open Favorites to list everyone in any of them (the starred categories are OR'd together)

    Combinations

Region and category stack – "musicians in Ukraine", "comedians in Brazil", "founders in the United States". The result is whatever profiles match BOTH filters, in the order of the board you're on. The Boosts board lists only pages that have received at least one boost; the Audience board lists every eligible page.

    URL structure

Every category has a stable URL: /top/{sector}/{industry} (add /boosts or /audience to the end to see one ranking on its own). The region rides on top as a ?region= query param, so you can bookmark, share, or link straight to "musicians on the Brazil leaderboard" without setting the filters by hand every time.

    Why the filters matter

The global boards favor the pages with the biggest audiences and the biggest boosts. Useful as a top-of-funnel curiosity, useless if you want to find your country's biggest podcaster. The filters are the difference between a leaderboard and a search engine.
